Terms of Use

Effective October 31, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Meetyr LLC ("Meetyr", "we", "us") for using the Meetyr app and this website. By creating an account or using Meetyr, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Meetyr.

1. Who can use Meetyr

2. Community rules

Meetyr has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. We remove content and suspend or permanently remove accounts that break these rules.

When you use Meetyr, you agree not to:

3. Reporting and enforcement

You can report a member or block them from their profile or Discover card using the shield icon, and report a business as closed for good or not real. Blocking hides you from each other. We review reports within 24 hours, and we may remove content, remove ratings, and suspend or permanently remove accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. You can also email support@meetyr.com.

You can't delete a rating you received, but you can flag it from your Feed. A moderator decides whether to remove it based on whether the interaction was real, never on whether it was a thumbs up or down, and we don't share the outcome, so a flag never reveals how someone rated you.

4. Ratings and scores

Ratings are the personal opinions of members about their most recent interaction with a person, or a visit to a business, not statements of fact by Meetyr and never a judgment of anyone's looks. We don't verify individual ratings and we aren't responsible for them, but we remove ratings that break these terms. Scores are calculated automatically from ratings and may change over time. A new rating joins a score within about 15 minutes of being made, after a 5-minute undo window. A rating from an account under 3 days old joins when the account is 3 days old. Ratings erased with the eraser stop counting at once. Ratings taken down by us, replaced, or from a deleted account stop counting at the first score update after midnight Pacific time. A person's score shows once ratings from three people count in it; a business's from its first rating.

A rating of a person more than 1 mile away counts only after they confirm they had an interaction with you. Businesses don't confirm ratings, and a member can rate a business once a day (Pacific time). Each QR code works for one scan. Members can see who rated them in their Feed, but never whether a rating was a thumbs up or down; a rating from a member whose profile was private when they made it, or is private now, shows as "A private member". Names show 3 at a time, and because scores move within minutes, a member may be able to tell how someone they know just rated them. Private members can't send rating requests, and we can always see who made a rating.

Each person has one eraser: it removes every rating they received in the last 7 days, so a rating you give may be erased. Business accounts have no eraser. If you're rated for professional services you offer (for example as a realtor, trainer or contractor), use a business account.

Party scores are members' opinions of their interactions inside one party. They're separate from your Meetyr score, and we remove ones that break these terms.

Legends are historical figures and storybook characters that members can rate for fun. They aren't members and can't rate anyone. You can rate each Legend once a day, after one question about it: the rating counts only if your answer is right, and your newest counted rating is your one vote. Like any rating, it's your opinion, not a statement of fact by Meetyr. Other members can see that you rated a Legend, never your thumb, unless your profile was private when you rated or is private now.

6. Your content

You own the photos and text you add to Meetyr. You give Meetyr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and process that content as needed to run Meetyr, for as long as it's on Meetyr. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload.

7. Pausing and deleting your account

You can pause or delete your account in the app at any time (Me → Safety & reporting), or ask us to delete it (see Support). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if needed to protect members or Meetyr.

8. Meetyr's role

Meetyr is a platform for members to share their own ratings. We don't screen members or confirm who they are beyond the steps described in the app, and we aren't responsible for how members act online or in person. Use good judgment when meeting people.

9. Disclaimers

Meetyr is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise that Meetyr will always be available or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Meetyr LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Meetyr. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
